[BETA] Rollease Acmeda Automate Pulse

Finally updated to a pulse 2 hub (from an ageing pulse 1) after some great customer service from Rollease. So far these drivers work very well so thanks.

I'm assuming that because these are we taking locally with the hub is the reason the blind names aren't carried over? Not a problem as it didn't take long to manually name them all but just checking in case my integration isn't fully right.

Just got some blinds installed with Rollease Acmeda motors so planning to integrate with Hubitat. Is this still the recommended drivers to use?

I just added the drivers for both the hub and then created the virtual device with the IP Address but when I click on 'Configure' nothing happens. What could I be doing wrong?

Update: The devices later appeared so its all working now.

This I can say yes. Works well for me.

Recently got some outdoor blinds and pulse 2 hub and this works great, thanks !

Hi everyone,

I’ve been encountering an error with my Pulse 2 Hub that appears about every 10 minutes:

dev:2802025-01-09 12:01:57.038 PM
error Pulse 2 Hub telnetStatus: error: receive error: Stream is closed

I’ve already tried the following steps, but the issue persists:

  • Unplugging the Pulse Hub for a full power cycle.
  • Selecting Configure, Initialize, and Refresh in the device settings.

Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving this issue?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't have a solution. I also don't have a complete idea of what is happening at my end either ..

However I have recently had to do the configure, refresh thing a few times which "seems" like after my internet connection has been re-established.. I don't believe it's because if io change...

This never happened before for me, so something has changed recently which is why I'm replying with minimal substance. Maybe unrelated, maybe related to your situation.

I haven't checked logs. I will do so next time my blinds aren't connected

Thanks very much for this driver. I’ve been using it successfully with my blinds for the past few months.

Today I tried to create a rule which triggers on the blinds closing and couldn’t get it to work. I checked the logs and found this:

java.lang.ClassCastException: null (method parse)

The driver reports opening and closing states correctly, but these don’t seem to be making it to Rule Machine. I wonder if that error is related?

Turns out I needed to save preferences once. That initialized whatever variable was needed.

Woohoo. Glad it resolved itself.

Mine has been reliable since setting this driver up, so I'm sure yours will be too now you have it working.
