Best way to swap lights 2 switches turn on

I am using Inovelli Red Dimmers, V2, (LZW31-SN) for all my switches. I want to swap which lights the switches on the left and right side of my closet turn on. Right now the left switch ("S1") turns on the closet light. The right switch ("S2") is part of 3-way with a third switch ("S3") that turns on my hallway light. I want S1 to act as a 3-way with S3 to turn on the hall light and S2 turn on the closet light. I want to be be able to dim the lights as well as just turning them on and off.

As they are Inovelli lights would there association feature be the best way to go about this (and if so, how), or should I disable local control and set up a rule to do it. (e.g. the rule for S1 would be to turn on S2 and vice-versa). That would seem pretty straight forward, but I'm not sure how to then set up the dimming.

Thanks,

Stuart

@Stu_The_K I can't exactly answer your question. I would have to test it myself, and I don't think I have two Reds available to do that. Here is a discussion thread in Inovelli's community that might help. There are discussions of a similar nature there. Maybe @ericm can help here too.

Are you using Z-Wave smart bulbs as well, or are they dumb bulbs? Associations are the best way to accomplish this, but you could also use scenes. I think it is possible with your current config, but Z-wave bulbs would make it easier.

I am using two 48" florescent tubes in the closet and two standard "floods" (aka high-hats, aka cans) lights for the hall.

BTW, I'm thinking about changing the florescent tubes to LED tubes but cannot find one that is leading edge. Do you know what would happen if I install trailing edge LEDs? I would hate to cut out the ballast (which I will need to do to convert to LED) only to find they won't work. BTW, it is also important that the florescent replacements are also dimmable - so I don't know if the problem with using trailing edge lights would be that they wouldn't work at all, or could be turned on but not dimmable, or is it possible they might just work fine? Does anybody have any experience with a 48" florescent tube replacement that is dimmable (and works with Inovelli Red Dimmers V2)?
