Hi
I just upgraded from a C-5 to a C-8 Pro so I am pretty committed to the Hubitat platform.
I have 4 Eufy Cam 2 Pro Floodlights and 1 Eufy E340 Flood Light and 1 Eufy Wall Light.
The architecture of my house is such that my outdoor lighting is best handled with these flood lights. But I want to be able to control them on a schedule to provide ambient lighting outside at night at a low level from sundown to sleep time.
I do know that these will integrate with Google Home but it is somewhat painful to get a google home hub just to run these and nothing else as I have everything else in HomeKit.
I am ok going to the eufy app for video recordings.
Any ideas?
I know there is a HomeAssistant solution but I bought Hubitat to avoid having to get an always on computer.
Nate
Unfortunately, no community app that integrates with Eufy is available. I think this is more of an issue with Eufy's proprietary system than with Hubitat.
A community member has written a driver that works with IObroker Eusec....ioBroker.euSec - An ioBroker adapter to control Eufy Security devices . I was able to get Eusec/IoBroker to run on a Raspberry PI. It does allow me to arm/disarm my Eufy Homebase using Hubitat Rule Machine, but I found the integration to be involved and cumbersome to say the least. If you are interested in going down this rabbit hole let me know and I can walk you thru it. It may not be the solution you are looking for since IoBroker does require an always on computer such as a Raspberry PI. I am not familiar with the Home Assistant integration for Eufy.
