Best current choice for SmartWings protocol and blackout

I know it has been asked before, but it’s been a while and I’m planning on buying my first Smartwings blinds. I know many suggest just get whichever matches my most common protocol (which for me is Z-Wave) but I think I’d rather go with whichever Hubitat driver works the best with them. So I’d like to hear from the community on that one.

Also, I’m planning on getting cellular blackout shades and they make 3 kinds: one has foil inside, on is a double cell and the third is a single cell but with a dark back.

Part of me thinks the foil would be the darkest, but another thinks one of the other 2 might be fine and let just a bit of light in.

One is for my bedroom as my wife is a nurse working nights. The other is for my living room as a window is directly in-line with my TV.

I’d like to hear if any of you have those and how you like them.

I asked same just a few days ago here. For the record, I ordered Zigbee since I have strong mesh for either in the location, and I couldn't see spending an extra $20 for Z-Wave. I've had mixed results with Matter devices, so wasn't quite ready for that.

I would assume that blackout shades and blackout cellular have the same degree of blackout. Cellular would give a little better sound/heat insulation. I went with shade because we have it behind window treatments. I know shades slide well behind them as that was what we had there before.

As I noted in the other thread, buying from ShadeWings direct gets a third year of warranty that costs extra if bought on Amazon. Cheap people like me uncovered 2% rebate on topcashback and also a 5% promo code via google search.

Thanks for the fast reply. I had searched first, but I guess as the thread started years ago I didn’t realize it had been recently added too.
