Before I start tearing my hair out

So I have a z wave outdoor switch and it stopped working.

No logs... nothing. But when I select poll, I get the following. I removed the device and re-added and got the same result.

Did you hard reset the device before re added?

What driver are you using? On many drivers, poll doesn't do anything, or just does refresh.

Did you added the plug at the original location? Don't forget to do a Z-Wave repair if it was not.

So: (i) I did do a hard reset; (ii) I did NOT add the plug back to the original location so I; (iii) did a z-wave repair.

How long should this take.

I saw some logs earlier when I would hit refresh so that command to refresh had been sent. However, on/off do not work.

Also this is the GE Z-Wave Plus outdoor switch.

So I let the network repair overnight.

The only button that will work is configure.

This switch has worked for the past 5 months until yesterday.

To isolate it's not a hardware issue. Time to bring your ST hub back to life and give it a go with that device.
Also you have not answered @bravenel on what driver are you using. Maybe change it to generic Z-Wave plug or switch, hit configure, save and test it.

No longer have a ST hub so I went one step further... bought a second GE Z-Wave Plus Smart Plug ZW-4201.

Could not connect the plug at the location so I managed to connect it elsewhere and then did a Z-Wave Repair.

Same result....

I guess why the hair tearing is because this switch worked flawlessly for 6 months until thursday when it simply stopped.

I also switch the driver from Generic Z-Wave Switch to Generic Z-Wave Outlet with the same result.

I had a Fibaro door sensor do a similar thing and changing the battery sorted it out.
The Fibaro reported temp changes OK but NOT open/close. Go figure.

Swapped out the battery and it came back working !
