I have one BE469 lock left in my home and noticed that I can't reliably lock/unlock it via dashboard. Upon further investigation I see that the status for the device never updates. It always says "unlocked" no matter what. Seems like it could be an indicator of the problem. Anyone know of a fix or something to look at? I only see one driver for the BE469 and I don't believe that this lock is even "officially" supported by Hubitat. That being said I've used a couple since my old SmartThings days.

Can you lock/unlock via the device page?
What driver is the lock currently using?
Try hitting configure on the device page and see what happens.
Yes, it locks and unlocks via the device page. It's using the stock driver. The status of the lock never changes from "unlocked"
Try removing the batteries. That seems to wake mine up when they start misbehaving.
What if you click refresh when it is out of sync?
Also as suggested you can try pulling batteries and re-inserting to reboot the lock hardware. Also another test would be to replace the battery no matter what % they say. I just had my Yale last week was at 77% and it stopped reporting correctly, exactly same problem you have. New batteries and its fine again. All 4 old alkaline batteries test at 1.41v
So that's funny. I removed the battery. Waited a minutes. Reconnected. Now it says locked all the time. Weird.
If it was locked when you put the batteries back in it probably fired out one state report and then stopped. See my suggestions above.
FWIW, my BE469NX (original Zwave/S0) does update status (on ZipGateway and Z-WaveJS) so you should be able to get yours to work. Events from both manual and unlock/lock events below. Using the built-in Schlage driver and Lock Code Manager.
Ha I had the same lock, , it worked well, so I got the z-wave plus version, what a mistake. I've since replaced it with a Yale Zigbee(YRD216?), and it is fantastic, zero issues. Never again Schlage
Possibly a case of they don't make them like they used to... I have no plans to upgrade or replace my perfect old Schlage and will keep it until it dies.
Same here. My Zigbee model is working like a champ.
I had that happen one time. Even battery replacement wasn't working. I excluded the lock, factory resetted it, then repaired it and that cured it. No probs since (this was 2 years ago)
