How to use BAZZ WiFi lighting system with Siri Apple home system using Hubitat
If you have a C-8 pro, but all the Bazz bulbs i see only support google home. If i missed the homekit bulbs then this doc will help.
If you dont have a C-8 pro, then now would be a great time to upgrade or you can add the devices to Home Assistant -> Hubitat.
I have C-8 pro but I have 5 Apple TVs, 16 HomePods and I want my bazz wifi lighting control to work with Siri since very room has HomePods to tell Siri to control lights, how can be done. I saw some wifi lighting companies add some program to add to ur Hubitat to control. can bazz be control like this too
Did the company provide such an integration or offer a documented API that Hubitat could use to do the same? A casual search suggests "no" for me as the answer, but I am not familiar with their products.
As mentioned above, if they support HomeKit (or Home via Matter -- also not something I saw with a quick search), you can add them to Hubitat as HomeKit devices. Then you can share them out to Apple Home with the Homekit Bridge integration, making them controllable via Siri. But Hubitat control depends on some way to get them on your hub, which ultimately relies on the manufacturer -- whether using a standard protocol (does not appear to be the case, but maybe HomeKit?) or a documented interface someone can use to write an integration.
More searching suggest they might be Tuya/SmartLife-based, which has no built-in integration at the moment. I believe there is at least one community integration. It is also possible they offer multiple product lines with differing capabilities. As the one with the product in hand, your documentation should suggest more specifics if the manufacturer provided any.
As long as they aren’t compatible with homekit, or hubitat as far as your hub is concerned… It cant be done.
If you want to ensure compatibility with hubitat i would consult this before making buying decisions.
