Just wanted to provide an update. I downgraded to 2.3.5.152 and all my battery notifications are working again as expected. I guess I will stay parked here version wise for a while as this version is stable and I prefer the UI for searching compared to the new UI.
Just wanted to put this info out incase anyone else was following. I do not plan to upgrade anymore as my smart home had been stable until this update.
