I ended up ordering a Zooz 4-in-1 (had problems with the older gen1 locking up my network, crossing fingers), and I had an extra older zooz on/off switch laying around. I'll work with that for now
Noted to not use security on either of them.

Following up on this.
I had an Inovelli switch running the exhaust fan for a year+. It continuously locks up lately, maybe once a month. Most times i need to flip the circuit on/off to reset it. Looking for another option, or just go dumb switch with a timer on it.
The problem is with the induction motor vs what the switches are really rated for. If I remember right Inovelli told me they actually didn't have anything rated to work with fan. Zooz has a very limited supply of devices they recommend for the use case. Most they don't recommend for it. I have one of there older Zooz zen24v4's I believe and it has locked up maybe 2 or 3 times over the time I have been using it. They recommend their Double switch with a dedicated relay for the Fan motor.
The other Zooz option they suggest for smaller motors is a Zen71.
I use a Aeotec Aerq sensor with updated firmware to improve it's update time to reduce the reporting time lag down to a max of 4 min.
They wouldn’t have at the time, but they do now. I have a few of these.
Thx, I saw that. Inner debate on if $60 is worth smart home effect, or just go back to a dumb timer switch.
dumb timer switch.
They make humidity switches as well. They have more sophisticated logic than a RM rule.
Condensation Sensor Plus On/Off control features intelligent sensor technology that monitors humidity and temperature to anticipate dew point, automatically operating the fan to control moisture. Advanced, easy-to-use features include a Moisture...

Zen71 has been powering a 1957 NuTone fan for the past couple years. Probably close to 2,000 on/off operations in that time. Not sure how that relates to newer fans, but one data point.
I do have an extra ZEN71 800 series sitting here....
