Basic Rule with Hue Bulbs

I recently added some Hue bulbs and having trouble with the basic rule. It worked before a recent update, but now I keep getting the below error.

You may need to provide a larger screenshot with the fields that include the asterisk mentioned in the message.

Hmmm... I never promised I could solve the problem...

But the best I can offer would be that the final "Then wait until the...." time does now seem to tally with the description at the top of the screen, as though the description is taken from a default but the setting further down.... Welll, try setting the time to something else and see if that fixes it....

Good catch. I changed it to sunrise and it seemed to work. I would rather have them turn off at a specific time.

Can you not set a specific time and have it work?

When I chose a "certain time" and enter 12:00 AM, I get the error in the first post.

I'm wondering whether that may be an existing issue, what if you choose 12:01am?

Did you try 11:59 PM? That seems to be what the prompt is suggesting . . .

Have you tried 11:59? In the image you attached, it says that the value of the hour must be <=11. I am not sure why.

Good point, one for the developers to comment on i expect, seems odd to me....

Setting it to 11:59 PM works. Strange it cannot be set to 12:00 AM, but not a big deal. However, I set the rule up with a certain time last night but the lights did not turn on. I will check it again tonight.

Feels like one for @bravenel to pick apart and comment on. 12AM does feel like a problematic time to use, so I would personally always choose something more precise in terms of either side of midnight, but still work on understanding the do's and don't's.... or looking at correcting any issues there may be in the app...
