Fielding several calls from clients at home wondering why alexa and some other stuff isn't working.... My Nelson from the Simpson's voice is going off with every call... Thank you Hubitat!
Been stuck interviewing candidates all afternoon I didn't even notice. Surprised no one has come to tell me the sky is falling.
Even Amazon Music is dead for me
And this is why I hate the cloud. It's just someone else's computer anyways so if given the chance I'd rather keep everything in house.
First time that I have noticed this for music though
US-East-1 Region down.
Parts of west also
Their solutions architects must have decided to take a vacation.... Always waits until you're out on holiday. I hadn't gotten hardly any calls all last month. On thanksgiving evening I got 12.
Wait...so you caused all this!?
I don't make enough to do that job. If they want to triple my salary I'll go fix it for em though. They're probably loosing that much every second that it's down so I think they could afford it.
You can bet there store is up and running though...... Good forbid Amazon lose money from that.
Wish the store would break permanently so I could get my wife to stop spending all our money.
hahahaha
I don't know which "shard" we're on in SoCal, but I've been down since I got up this AM - main impact for me is Ring cameras in two locations. Was briefly up about 30m ago (started getting a flurry of Ring motion notifications, and I could see remote video) but then it went down again.
I think the outage is bigger than what amazon is reporting -- even alexa isnt working for me in Eastern Washington.
Ah, just spoke w/her and she confirmed...it's all her money.
LOL of course it is... if you say anything other the WAF hits a negative number and all hell breaks out!!
Yea, I know just eager for her to go back to work so she don't have so much free time to shop.
This was my purchases per year before she started using my account
[2:04 PM PST] We have executed a mitigation which is showing significant recovery in the US-EAST-1 Region. We are continuing to closely monitor the health of the network devices and we expect to continue to make progress towards full recovery. We still do not have an ETA for full recovery at this time.
