I have a dumb daikin ducted aircon system in my house.

I want to automate it in this way. To get full control over the months and time of the day it turns on and how long it turns on for.
Only in summer and winter months (i want to set only december and July), when degrees falls below 18 C or above 30C inside the house, then turn on AC and bring temperature to 26C which is normal room temperature.
To get that to work i know i need a smart thermostat to get the degrees.
But how do i intergrate hubitat with that dumb daikin controller?
anyone got something like this working?
