August Pro Lock stopped responding

I am looking for help on why my August Pro lock stopped working in the last two weeks. I have a C7 and the August Firmware is 1.59.0-2.01.

Since I migrated to Hubitat, the lock has been probably 75% reliable, and seemed to improve upon the 2.2.4 release.

Now, it is completely unresponsive. I have excluded and included the lock a few times as well as a factor reset of the lock. Upon a new inclusion, it works very well... for about 2 minutes. Then, it will no longer accept commands, however it will recognize state changes for a few minutes longer if I lock or unlock manually.

Then, it becomes completely disconnected, and trying a zwave repair on the device results in a 'node unreachable' log entry.

Any guidance would be appreciated...

Did you recently upgrade to 1.59.0-2.01? Your problem sounds suspiciously like an old issue with these locks where they would stop responding after entering power-save mode. The fix was a firmware downgrade to 1.59.0-1.8.15. However I have seen a report that v2.0.1 works just fine on a C7 hub. Try waking it up by issuing a lock command with the august app. Does it start working again?

Are you having problems sending commands to other z-wave devices also?

No issues with other devices, but I do have a stubborn ghost node that I can't get rid of, but it has been there for about a month and hadn't yet seemed to cause problems.

I don't know when the lock upgraded since it was working fine. Over the last few days when it became unresponsive and 'unreachable', I would power down the hub, wait 30 seconds, and power up. This would usually re-establish the connection, at least temporarily for a minute or two.

This morning, after an exclusion and inclusion, followed by failure and 'unreachable' log event, I went ahead and pulled the batteries to see if it would reconnect instead of powering down the hub. It did reconnect, and it has been responsive and stable for at least 2 hours.
