Are zigbee devices from UK and AUS compatible

Probably a silly question but I can't find the answer anywhere online so far.

Will a UK Zigbee device work on an Australian Hubitat C-8?

I know with Z-Wave there are different frequencies assigned depending on the country you are in, is there a similar thing with zigbee?

I'm thinking of buying a UK Yale conexis door lock (can't get any yale door locks [or other makes] in Aus that will work on uPVC multipoint locking doors that use lift to lock handles) they come with 3 wireless options:
z-wave - (I know are different fq to Aus so won't work and I can't get an Aussie compatible yale z-wave module that will fit this lock) all other devices in my house are z-wave so this was my preferred option until I found that there was no way of getting these locks to work.
WiFi - (I cannot find any way to get these to connect to zigbee without going into ifttt Etc, but I could still use this connected to google so still an option)
Zigbee - (unsure if a UK bought zigbee module will work with an Aussie Hubitat C-8) also I don't have any other zigbee devices within the house, however the front door is not too far from the hub so shouldn't be too reliant on mesh network.

I would appreciate any feedback if others have advice for uPVC door compatible smart locks that will work in Aus.

Thanks

I believe the connectivity should be fine, the main consideration is power. Battery operated devices should be ok, but mains-powered stuff needs an adaptor, something I needed to do when I didn't check the details closely enough for a Hue Go lamp I bought on Amazon, which I have connected to my hue bridge.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I was just weighing up ideas and have decided to go the WiFi route as i don't really want to introduce another wireless protocol in my system and the WiFi option gives a bit more capability with using phones to unlock the doors Etc, the only down-side is that I can't integrate easily into Hubitat. hopefully someone will develop an app to integrate from Yale Access into Hubitat at some point soon.
