Simple things like changing the Tile Name, Icon, Font Size? Maybe changing a Dimmer range or step?
For now at least, a tile has the same name as the device that it's pulling an attribute from. A separate tile label that can be configured just for a dashboard has been requested, and I believe it's on their to-do list.
You can change the color scheme of a tile, but can't actually change the icon for a tile. However you can overlap an image tile with a device tile, which might work for you. See this post:

Font size can be configured for a dashboard, but not on a per-tile basis, I believe.
I don't think there's any way to alter the range of a dimmer in a tile.
