I'll chime in again and opine that I don't think your choices for a Z-Wave thermostat w/suitable driver are going to be that extensive, to say the least. I could be wrong.
I’ve no experience with the XR524. The GC-TBZ48 does not use CPH. It uses a temperature delta like the ecobee. I’ve used that thermostat - it’s good.
