Aqara Support on Hubitat

I am having issues getting the humidity to show anything other than 0 via matter bridge to Aqara M3. Temperature works. Humidity and temperature work fine via matter to HomeKit and Home Assistant. Am I the only one having issues in HE?

Turn on debug logging on the parent device then hit refresh on the child device that has humidity. Then post the logs here please. The one I have is reporting, so it might be a model difference possibly..

Are Aqara devices more reliable on hubitat now? I recall in the past they were known to have issues dropping off and making the zigbee network unstable

I dipped my toe in with two door and window sensors.

Love the small size and they joined smoothly. However, of the two I installed 30 days ago, one fell off the mesh and had to be re-joined. The other has been solid.

The one that fell off doesn’t seem like a mesh issue. It is 2’ from a battery operated leak detector that has been rock solid for 10 months.

Time will tell…

Aqara battery-powered devices are as reliable as they have always been (or not been) when used with Zigbee coordinators different from Aqara's—independent of the driver used and independent of the hub used (HE, ST, HA, etc.).

As @kkossev said, nothing‘s changed with respect to aqara zigbee devices that use a non-standard profile, and thus don’t play well with non-aqara hubs.

But there are some zigbee 3.0 aqara devices now that should be ok to use.

Aqara support has evolved - I started to write a history of my experiences but 1/2 through I changed my mind.
In short, the older Aqaras used to cause problems and weren't well liked. an option to use a bridge (I did it with an HA) did allow me to use them without problems but it was a lot of work for little gain for me.
Then KKossev did some magical thing, figured out the wierdness or at least explained it and published a community driver that worked well.
I have a box of these devices and the older ones do now work. but the trust factor isn't there. The 3.0 devices, have become very good- I love the physical design and I'm happy to integrate them along with a few older ones and haven't had any issues since the KKossev work.
Here's one. Notice the P1 vs p2 etc. really got to watch what flavor exactly you have!

Just to clarify, @kkossev will tell you himself that drivers (including his) don't determine if a device will stay on the hub or not, and there isn't anything magical in his drivers to make Aqara devices (old or new) more likely to stay connected to HE hub than other drivers. But I do think Kkossev is a magical guy in general.

I use many of the older Aqara contact sensors and they are very reliable on my hubs, and are happiest in my case when they connect via repeaters and not directly to my hub. I have them on a C8-Pro and C7.

every door in my my house interior or exterior has an Aqara contact sensor. I have zero issues keeping them connected. Also have a few motion sensors that I have no problem with either.

I have tried many drivers for them and they don't work any better or worse. I even have a couple running the new built-in drivers.

What is the zigbee repeater situation like in your environment?
