for all the fans of Aqara devices:
Aqara Announce Matter Timeline and New M3 Hub – Homekit News and Reviews
Aqara will provide matter update for the hubs in the near future. With this, all Aqara devices will be available via Hub via Matter.
Also, future devices will support Matter out of the box.
This seems to be a good solution as Aqara is sometimes a bit complicated in Hubitat. When Matter is supported by Hubitat, we can hopefully use the last unsupported Aqara devices (e.g. plug) or devices that have issues with Hubitat with an Aqara Hub in Hubitat. Then, step by step the matter support will allow us to use all future devices directly with Hubitat.
