Aqara Leak Sensor

I want a cheap zigbee leak sensor with a thin wire tail sensor. Does anyone know if I can solder cheap speaker wire to an aqara sensor, I presume on the underside there are two metal probes but as I don't have one I can't be sure.
The sensor I'm thinking of is

or can anyone recommend an alternative that is available in the UK?
I want one so I can get an alert when the water container in a dehumidifier needs emptying.

I have 6 of those exact Aqara sensors and they work great with the C-5 Hubitat. I can't speak to newer hub versions.

They are a huge pain in the butt to add. Sometimes you have to try a dozen times before it properly adds, but beyond that one issue I have had no problems at all with them.

If you can get third reality leak sensors in the UK, they have screw contacts that can be tapped into.

These Aqara devices have this feature as well.

What driver are you using for the aqara water leak sensor? Added it but it doesn't seem to be using the correct driver so is useless at the moment.

This one has the probe on an umbilical cord.

Ecolink Zwave Plus Flood & Freeze Sensor, White (FLF-ZWAVE5-ECO)

Unfortunately, it's Z-wave.
There is another brand with screw terminals on the probe, but I don't remember the brand.

Also won’t work in the UK (wrong zwave frequency).
