installed seemed OK, driver seems to be working but cant actually use.

Looks like you didn't install the child app.

@bptworld's Magic Cube app has a parent app "MC-parent.groovy" and a child app "MC-child.groovy". That error seems like you didn't install the child app.

As a suggestion, developers generally keep track of threads specific to their apps (or drivers). The likelihood of Bryan seeing your post is much greater if it were posted in his Magic Cube thread:

It is also highly recommended to use Hubitat Package Manager to install any of my apps. :wink:

Just a little side-note: To use that App with my driver you probably have to set it to use the Legacy button order in Preferences.

Last question - is there a way to rotate the cube to go through a "color wheel" for color light bulbs group or slide for brightness control?

Nope. Not sensitive enough or repeatable to control something like that.

Turning it decreases/increases the dimming value of the device. You could mirror that dimming value to an actual device. How well that will work depends on your light and your expectations. Try it and see if you like it.
