Apps and Drivers Keep Disappearing

Trying to move from ST and haven't had the best experience. I create apps like Simple Automation Rules and make the automation and I'll come back a while later and the app is missing, along with the automations under it.

The drivers I've added keep disappearing as well. I get everything set up and I have to start all over for the frustrating devices (like the Zooz zse18) among other things. I've searched for this and haven't found anything so I'm reaching out. Thanks in advance!

The times I’ve heard of this happening were generally related to not exiting the application/driver setup correctly, and thus not allowing the application/driver to completely register and complete its configuration.

Generally the last step to these is to click a “Done” button.

What's weird is that everything will work for a while, I go back and check to see if everything is still good and it is...I move on and come back later and continue adding devices and they're gone. I've used the documentation and videos to make sure I'm doing it right, so I'm puzzled. Also made sure I clicked the "Done" button and didn't go back while creating an automation

That is a little unusual, normally it is apparent fairly quickly.

There have been some reports of similar issues if the hub loses power (without proper shutdown). Have you had any power outages?

There haven’t been any outages or anything like that...I’ve also made sure I shut the hub down before pulling any power...which I’ve done a few times from reading about how it can fix some issues (from other threads). So far everything I’ve done since I first posted has remained. I’ve backed up after every addition as well.

Ok I think I'm good. Since my last post everything has been excellent. I'm not too proud to say I might have missed something initially, but I'm pretty meticulous about stuff like this and I study things before I get into them...having said that, I've seen a couple of posts on the Facebook group that have pointed in the same general direction and think it may just be a bad reboot or something else explainable lol.

I've learned a bit more in the last few days and since then it's been rock-solid. I've seen a couple of posts about letting the z-wave network "heal" (in my mind "learn") and everything has been firing like gangbusters. I even have a shed about 60' away that has Inovelli gear working flawlessly.

Thank you for the responses. I hope to contribute to the community as well. With Hubitat, everything just works...even my ST buttons...which work way better with HE than ST.
