This is coming in a planned release (not the very next one, but soon).

Just came across this thread looking for a method to sort state variables. Current states are sorted but State variables are not. Is it still intended to have these be sorted?

Please explain what you are talking about specifically, as both Settings and State variables have been sorted on the App Status page for years now.

In what context are you wanting to sort them?

Sorry, I didn't connect the context of the title with the OP's request.

I was actually referring to the State Variables on the drivers page. Obviously not in alphabetic order but nor is it in creation order.
