I cannot get this model to pair with the hub. I've tried close to the hub and 30+ feet away with no luck.
Have you been able to pair this particular device?

I think this is basically the old ST motion sensor. No issues pairing those guys. Not sure if Aeotec made any changes to it, though.
Did you try a factory reset on the device before pairing? I find that sometimes helps.
Are you putting the hub into zigbee discovery mode when trying to pair?
It shouldn’t be necessary to factory reset the device before pairing the first time, but can you confirm you’ve successfully reset the device after failed pairing attempts?
Does the hub’s live log show anything while attempting to pair?
OK, my bad. I was trying to pair it as a Z-wave device. It's Zigbee and it paired almost instantly. You're right, there's no need to factory reset it when unpaired. In fact, it seems to ignore the attempt to reset it and just stays in pairing mode. Thanks for the suggestions!

Well... mystery solved. Glad it was that simple. The reset thing is hit or miss. Sometimes I have trouble pairing a device and a reset solves the issue, but it could be because the device tried to pair and couldn't. In your case it didn't even try.
