So I am new to all smart devices including Hubitat. I have been installing Juno hf6c lights and they have been connecting to my Hub successfully so far, but the last one I did have some struggles as they are getting farther away. So my first question is a zigbee extender and repeater the same thing? i have seen both. Secondly, I am looking for a device to extend my range. I saw the Aeotec ZGA001-A. Will this work with Hubi for extending my range as I am trying to do? Is the range really near 100M?
Yes - extender = repeater in practical terms. I got one to try out and it works just fine, but I don't think its range or overall performance is any better than a Tuya extender.
I'm admittedly wary of Tuya / aliexpress stuff, but these Tuya extenders have impressed me. And they're less expensive than Aeotec (well, what isn't )
