Anyone have an IKEA blind for sale?

Had an IKEA FYRTUR Zigbee blind fail. Tried 2 known good batteries. Took it apart and didn’t see anything obvious. All I need is the power part because they are all the same.
Checked on eBay and found 2 as-is with failed motors.

Before I go walk the maze at IKEA, I am hoping someone has one they are not using.

Part number on the power unit is E1790-86

Just because I have it handy, the mechanism in the upper right is what he is talking about.

I had one fail too and ended up ordering a new blind. Of course, since as you say they are all alike, I ordered the smallest/cheapest size and took what I needed out of it.

Found out these blinds have a 5 year warranty. Found the receipt on their web site, did the maze at IKEA and I now have a brand new blind. Forgot to put the battery in the old shade.:sunglasses:

Updating the firmware now.

Just had another blind fail. Doesn’t respond to button presses on the blind, even using a freshly charged battery and also a battery from a working blind.

Oddly enough, it pairs successfully to HE yet does not respond to commands. It is ‘mostly dead’

Once again I get to navigate the IKEA maze. As someone with no sense of direction, combined with the cryptic ‘shortcuts’ and illuminated arrows on the floor, I am not looking forward to this.

I asked an employee about the arrows on the floor. They point to the way out.

Made the trip to IKEA. Brought the defective blind and a new blind to returns, like before. Gal tells me the 5 year warranty is no more. I told her the warranty cannot be changed after the sale. She said that’s the way it is but she will exchange it this time.
They also dropped the prices on these. Normally $149 now $119.

IKEA might be coming out with a new model and wants to clear old stock.

The receipt printed today was dated today just like it was a purchase. :sunglasses:
