I am all but certain Zooz is not an OEM partner to Inovelli - my guess it's some higher-end builder or alarm partner, since they allude to them in a lot of their projects (not just the mmW project).
Plus, I'm 99.9% sure the Z12 is just PIR (no mmW).
Well, @agnes.zooz indicated either here or on their forum that it’s PIR, so you can be 100% sure 
Also, I don’t know who OEMs Zooz hardware, but the magic is all in their firmware, which is unique to them.

Confirming the motion sensor in the ZEN12 Motion Dimmer is PIR. Also confirming that there's no existing partnership or affiliation between Zooz or Inovelli. The device was fully developed as an exclusive Zooz product so you will not be able to get it under any other brand (hardware and firmware are both unique to Zooz). We're super excited for this one and can't wait to see how you put it to work in your smart home! 
Why don't you share your review here instead of making people go to your content. It's advertising if you don't put something meaningful here.

It was simply because I could not upload video, pictures or links in my post.
I also read all the guidelines and rules and didn’t see anything against referring or linking to other content that was originally created. I also saw no rules about advertising- not that advertising was my intention - I simply thought this group might be interested in seeing the product.
I’ll join the owners group to get more capabilities and I’ll post my findings later in a way that is acceptable and digestible by this forum.
Looks like this motion sensor switch is like other switches with a push button on the bottom and the motion sensing lens on top. I was hoping it would be like the Inovelli ones where it looks and acts like a Decora switch. I wasn't planning on paying the Inovelli tax, but it looks like I may need to do so to get the fit/form/function I so desire.
Rather, I should say so guests to the house desire. I had a Kasa motion sensing switch for a hall half bath for years, but I got tired of everyone some how locking up the switch or setting the dimmer way low. Or complaining about how the light stays on too short. Or too long. I have since replaced the motion switch with a Zooz smart dimmer switch, but now regular house residents are complaining that they have to use their hands to turn on the lights again.
Just can't win for trying, it seems.

The Zooz is PIR whereas the Inovelli is mmW. PIR needs a lens.
Honestly I spend a boatload of time on these videos for no compensation at all. It’s literally a passion project and a hobby. My goal is to help people. I don’t care about being an influencer or getting monetized. I would like to grow a community of people helping each other that crosses all ecosystems and forum boundaries at some point.
I also thought it was nice of Zooz to get me the beta product to review and I simply wanted to share what I had and what I learned.
After spending three days creating a 30+ minute video review I’m simply trying to make the most of the time I’ve already invested and share the content. (And honestly I’m tired!). If I get time and energy later I’ll post back here. Sorry to have ruffled feathers.

I am lucky to have in hand an actual ZEN12 beta unit. I've been evaluating it, and below are some unexpected findings and a few pictures.
I've been told a release is planned for sometime in mid-April 2026.
- Many configurable parameters allowing for button up or button down installation, configurable triggers and timers, etc. With all the normal features similar to other Zooz dimmers.
- Lux sensor determines day/night behavior, and acts as an independent sensor.
- 3-way wired support similar to the ZEN76
- Multi-touch scene control from each of the three buttons; and (I believe - not tested yet) the ability to trigger scenes from a remote 3-way wired switch.
- Multi-segment LED display; ability to change colors and behavior. I suspect it could be used as a notification method for elsewhere in the home (not yet tested)
I'm on a beta firmware, but I'm expecting an upgrade to production firmware will open up a few additional options before official release.
It seems that ZEN12 driver was added in 2.4.4.129, so it does show up as a dimmer, motion, illuminance sensor, and button device which is very cool! (Most other z-wave platforms did not have a driver already for this device!)
However I could not get the device to produce multi-tap scene control events in most ecosystems/controllers (I did have the scene control parameter enabled) so I'm assuming this is a pre-production firmware bug.
I can say I was leery about the motion being PIR, but I find it to be extremely accurate. It never has missed a presence event in the week I've had it installed.

So looking at the picture of the front, not 100% sure I like the "Inovelli style" LED bar instead of the discreet "Zooz/Lutron style" LED dot(s). I've come to love this very clean look instead of a bar that I had on my first gen Inovelli dimmers and eventually got rid of and replaced with the Zooz dimmers. If they would have used 5 individual "dot LEDs", that would have been very nice and really hope they reconsider this decision in the next designs.
If I ever need to get one of these, I would most likely try to get a mask made out of vinyl with small holes and cover up the bar for sure.

Following up on my earlier post. I've since received Firmware 0.5 from Zooz and completed a full retest, including a dedicated Hubitat re-test segment.
The improvement over the pre-production firmware is meaningful and things are looking considerably better under 0.5.
The new video is below. The Hubitat retest starts at 3:26 if you want to jump straight to it, though the firmware intro and Z-Box segment before it give useful context on what actually changed.
This table shows the items repaired/improved with this latest firmware based on my testing so far.
