Anybody Else Notice The SmartStart QR Code On Zooz Device Boxes Doesn't Always Work?

I've had to go to the QR device on the device itself numerous times.
Most recently, just now, with a ZSE44LR temp/humidity sensor.

Maybe @agnes.zooz could chime in?

Perhaps marking up, and storing the QR codes in a plastic bag isn't foolproof.

I've always just used the device's QR -- I figured that's the most reliable one.

I take a picture of each (and zoom it up a bit before saving) and then store that on my OneDrive -- then I use that picture for the inclusion.

What I did notice was when using the QR code to enable the LR feature was the process seemed to get stuck. So backed out but checked and the device had been included after all.

One time, it seemed to have been included in ss, but never on the devices page. Deleting from ss, factory resetting the device, and starting the ss process over worked.

I have had several new from the box devices fail to include on the first go. They needed to be factory reset first. One z-wave device also new from the box needed a reset, then to be excluded and reset again before it would "take". That quirk was apparent when I had 9 z-wave wall switches. During the install 2 of the 9 would not be included until resetting them. That 2 of 9 were odd that way remains a mystery.

Sorry I missed that question! We have seen a couple of instances when they didn't match on the XS sensors and have gone back to the factory to review and revise the QC process to prevent that from happening going forward. Feel free to report any recent cases to our customer service if it happens again so we can investigate. Thank you for bringing my attention to this!
