I was changing a Button Controller rule for an Aeotec NanoMote Quad. When I went to add the 3 Held nothing appeared. Likewise when I tried to create the 3 released. As you'll see from the screen shot neither is listed in my rule. Also, from the dropdown button 3 isn't listed at all because Hubitat thinks I've already defined rules for 3 Held and 3 Released.
What's worse, is that 3 Held was originally controlling devices in another room and you'll see from the other screen shot it thinks it still is.
It would be a pain to have to delete this and recreate it, but is there any thing else I can possibly do?
Restore a backup that works.
Thanks. I didn't think there was anything less drastic than that. Seems it would be safer and faster to just redo the rule. This is a bug that I have seen time to time in other rule apps too (where you pick to add a button push/hold/release and it doesn't appear but Hubitat treats it like it did).
Hope they can track down and fix it.
I think I saw this the other day. I have some GE embrighten switches and I wanted to try adding a double tap action. When I tried to add the double tap it did nothing. When I tried to do it again I couldn't because it no longer showed as an option. I just deleted the rule and did it again.
For me it was just a test, and what I wanted to do with the device didn't really work like I wanted so I didn't mess with it anymore. I think, however, I saw the same behavior.
I've definitely seen it multiple times in different rule apps. I just re-did it.

Either toggling or disabling “Keep buttons sorted” will sometimes “fix” the rule.
I tried that several times, and even going out and then back into the app after doing a toggle, but it didn't help. I ended up just deleting it and making a new rule to do it.
This an old post I know but I've spent too much time following old posts trying to get the Aeotec NanoMote One working and finally came across this old post.. and it works perfectly
