I use home assistant to bring the few BT devices i want into hubitat. Considering the hubitat hub specs doesn’t mention bluetooth and the compatible devices page doesn’t mention any bluetooth devices, neither the C7 nor C8 would meet your requirements. If you have bluetooth devices in mind… that you want to automate, i would recommend verifying they are even compatible in home assistant before going down that complicated road.
Yet another reason to use HA with Hubitat. I set up HA just to check out all the hype about it, and it has slowly become an invaluable assistant to Hubitat for bringing in devices that have no built-in or community integration available, using the HADB app. I had no idea I would find so many uses for HA, I have a bunch of devices on HA now, including a few Tuya devices that integrate so easy with the HA Tuya App integration by just entering a code..
I have an LED strip light that came with my desk that uses Bluetooth through the Lotus Lantern app, but I didn't think about looking for an HA integration, but apparently there is one. I'm going to try that today, to be my first Bluetooth device added to Hubitat via HA.
Edit: I installed the Lotus Lantern (Elkbledom) integration using HACS in HA, and I now have Hubitat control of the Bluetooth LED strip. I just found that it became an LED bulb in Hubitat via HADB, so I have full control over it. In addition, I also just got my Zigbee Outlet plug back for another use, as that was how I was controlling the lights before.
