Last I checked it didn’t. I’ll try plugging out the USB port and see what happens.

I have a 2014 Subaru Outback manual tranny we use for a toad ( towed car for those not in the know). I don’t want to replace it as it only has about 35,000 miles on it, but decided I wanted a backup camera. Ended up replacing the original radio with a Panasonic unit with backup camera, wireless Car Play, and the controls on the steering wheel still work - mostly. I can’t do a station search, it has to be done on the good sized screen. Installation cost way more than the unit, but it is nice. Another option to consider.
Give it a couple of weeks and you never go back.
