Any Security issues with Cloud End Point in RM?

I am using cloud end points from rules created in RM to trigger those rules from Siri Shortcuts.

They work well - for instance I have one that unlocks my front door. However it occured to me, are there any security issues with using cloud end points? For instance does it create any realisitic ability for my hub to be compromised externally? Or are there any additional steps I should be taking when using cloud end points?

I may be "jumping at shadows" but thought I check before going too far down this route.

This shouldn't be much of a concern. The primary vulnerability you have is that if someone else gets that endpoint URL, it can unlock your door. So ultimately the security depends on you keeping that URL private.

Any modification to that URL will not result in anything that works. There is a one-to-one relationship between that URL and the app that created it. It won't work for anything else, and can't be transformed into anything else that works.
