I'm just thinking to use hubitat in all family cars
As a startup

• install node-red inside Running on Android : Node-RED to get any imaginable automation via Bluetooth and wifi connectivity

• Alexa app

• hubitat hub itself

What I see as a great functionality are

• car security when it is far from the mobile of the owner and starts moving. Same on opening doors, hood, boot door
• connection to car computer to monitor everything
• when the car is going close to the house - rule machine can start events inside. "Alexa, make me a coffee, please"

Good idea @podarok.
I would recommend to rather use obd2 plug like Automatic or Dash.
They are getting all car data and can alert on anything. I do not necessary see the need to involve hubitat for anything. But if you do want to then you can connect these car apps through IFTTT to hubitat

WIth Android device there is a WIFI network where you can do any hubitat rules executed without need of LTE/3G networking for IFTTT stuff.

Sure. But you can get the data for rule trigger on your home hubitat hub through ifttt and do logic there. Without worrying for mobile device setup and wifi. Besides Automatic and Dash will still need the driver to have their phone paired to the obd2 device anyway. I suggested obd2 setup as i think it is easier with all officially supported integrations and cheaper to implement than what you proposed. So it is just another option that i would go with if i were you
