Another Zigbee Network is not Online post

I'm a long time C5 hub user who until recently had very few issues. A few weeks ago I started getting an error message saying that the "ZigBee network is not online". I saw here that the issue is usually related to devices or apps overloading the hub. I have lots of devices and never had this problem prior to a few weeks ago. I deleted a bunch of apps that I installed via package manager. The issue still persisted.

Fast forward to today when I received my new C7 hub in the mail, installed my backup, re-paired all of my zigbee devices, and am now getting the same exact error message. I've searched through the posts several times and can't seem to fix this. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

What do the app and device stats pages look like? Could be a failing device flooding the hub or an app going berserk.

Nothing seems to be too crazy.

This is 5 minutes after a fresh reboot. As you can see, top right, ZigBee radio already shut down.

The two Zigbee offline incidents may not be related. I suggest not stressing over this, any more. Instead, if you didn't already, please open a warranty case by visiting the following page:

Also check the PM I sent you.

Couple of points:

  1. Instead of % of busy, I generally prefer % of total (I really don't care if something is taking 95% of busy if it's only .01% of the total time).
  2. Right after a reboot a lot of things are still happening, give it 6-8 hours to settle in an then start monitoring - will give you a truer picture.
  3. Be aware of Cloud integrations, sometimes they can stack up the async calls and overwhelm the hub without showing up in the stats.

Good tip, that can really overwhelm a hub resulting in crawling actions, load alerts or even locked database, however, it shouldn't drive Zigbee offline on a C7 hub.
