Another August Question

I have read a lot about August locks being unreliable and lots of problems.. Just moved from my OG Hubitat hub to the C7 and cannot get it to "sync" with Z-Wave... never had any of the issues most are having with the old hub... all the threads I read are about performance and reliability..
I've tried factory reset of the zwave of the lock and it still gives me a weird error of "z-wave found and bootstrapping" but never completes. Although the lockl thinks it's sync'd... I assume this is related to the other problems people are having but I can't even get that far haha
Any ideas? both running latest firmware.

I am having the exact same problem, were you ever able to get a resolution to this?

No, and I wish there were... I need it to work. My original Hubitat hub had no issues.

Not sure this is your problem, but it has some good information provided by @JDRoberts.

Also,

FLiRS (Frequently Listening Receiver Slave) nodes are a special and important type of power-saving node in a Z-Wave door locks, smart thermostats, and other home automation and security devices. These are battery powered devices that can wake up when a call it made to them. Without FLiRS, Z-Wave battery-powered smart door locks would be impractical. FLiRS work by alternating between sleep mode and a partially awake mode, typically once per second to briefly listen for a special WakeUpBeam . For this reason, you need to ensure the repeater closest to your door lock supports Beaming

Keep trying to add it, I just got it to work. Make sure when adding it you do the secure method and leave both the dialogue boxes open until the lock is added. It took 10 min or so but the initializing part turned into a dialogue to name the device. I don't think we waited long enough.
