Stumbled over this today. There was a small discussion in the past of the 'Hunches' of Alexa. You may see warnings when troubleshooting how Alexa related issues. I automated a command to Alexa to disable Hunches everyday, because recently for no known reasons hunches seems to get turned on without me asking it to. Yea for automation! Have my computer fight your computer ...
Anyways - Another less severe automation occurred today and it was a bit frustrating. I was trying to put a new device into Alexa from my HE, and it ended up in a room without me specifiying. I caught it because I was trying to stick the new device in 'Upstairs' - an amalgamation of my upstairs rooms BUT I finally located it in my Office. This can NOT be controlled via automation! It is a hard setting in your Alexa account:
To disable - Go to your Alexa App, and select Settings. go to Hunches. Select the gear in the top Right corner. Click the Groups word. it's not obvious it is a button, but it is. Toggle off the Automatic Grouping here.
