[Announcement] New SenseCAP app is available called SenseCAP AutoPages (SCAP)

A Hubitat app and driver for the SenseCAP Indicator that displays sensor data. The Pages are created semi-automatically, limited to 6 Pages. Each Page can be only one type of sensor (Water, Contact, Smoke, and Motion. Pages can be rearranged. From 1 (1x1) to 49 (7x7) devices can be on a Page, a total of 294 Sensors. I wouldn't try it, though.

Available here.

See previous app here. The other one allows different sensor types to be on the same page. Flexible but tedious to set up with a bunch of sensors. Since this version limits it to one sensor type per page, the device selection will only show the devices of that type. Unfortunately, Claude was not able to get the Select all and Unselect all buttons to work.

Forgot to give it it’s name. SenseCAP AutoPages

Added lights that can be controlled, and alphabetize the devices on each page. Version 4.4.0.

Enjoy.

Cleaned up a bunch of stuff. Pages can be moved up or down, created and deleted. Initial rendering improved - still takes a long time with 5x5 pages, especially with lights (they take longer to render, as they are tappable.) Device reboots on App Done, or using command on Device page.

Version 5.0.0

And 5.0.1 - fixed bugs in page moving, deleting and creating.

Found minor booboo in upload to github. App file was 3258 lines long instead of 720. Somehow I copied the source file about 4.5 times instead of the more normal 1 time. Same version, and since I haven’t looked at HPM yet, it doesn’t matter.

Don’t know if anyone is following along, but I am releasing yet another app that builds on previous ones. It is located at GitHub - jlslate/SenseCAP-Dashboard-and-Thermostat · GitHub and as you can see from the name, it supports a simple Thermostat page, plus I added Locks and Garage Doors and Lights, which are all controllable from the SenseCAP.

New announcement is here.
