Happily using the ambient weather station app developed by @kurtsanders. When installed, it found and added an outdoor temp/humidity sensor and one of two identical floating temp sensors. (Have one for pool and one for spa.) Any experience/advice on adding the second floating temp sensor?

Problem solved. Solution was simple but took awhile to get there. In the end, simply had to change the channel of the seemingly absent sensor from 1 to another unused channel (then, of course, reboot the AWM console and remove/reinstall the ambient weather app).
Why there is a problem with channel 1, I do not know. AWM display could pick up the sensor on channel one and display it locally and through the cloud but apparently was not passing it along to the Hubitat ambient weather app. I do vaguely recall, a couple of years ago when installing a simple display for my AWM sensors, that the display made assumptions about what device had to be on channel 1. Perhaps that persists at some point in the chain of connections.
Kudos to @KurtSanders -- for his prompt and thoughtful help as well as for bringing the ambient weather app to Hubitat.
work @user3000.I'm just glad you could get all your various Ambient sensors configured to report their data to the Ambient API server. Problem solving can be maddening sometimes, but your investigative nature and persistence paid off.
