Amazon Echo Skill Logging

Please add logging to the Amazon Echo Skill App.

I would like 'Amazon Echo Skill' App events in the Hubitat (System) Logs.

In the device events one is logged when the Alexa app controls a device. Here is one from this morning when I asked Alexa to turn on the lights. Notice the 6th column (produced by) shows the Amazon Echo Skill:

"device events" meaning the Events button at the top of each device's page?

The entry in the Logs created by enabling descriptionText logging doesn't tell me that the Amazon Echo Skill turned on the device so...it would be nice to have Amazon Echo Skill Logging.

Another use case is being able to see a list of all the commands sent to/from Amazon over time.

The "Event Log" on a device page, DOES tell you if Alexa was used to turn on a device.

Same as I told you here: Amazon Echo Skill Logging - #10 by jtp10181

It does not go to the system log, you will only see it in the event log for a single device at a time.

If you want a history of voice commands used on Alexa, you can get that on your amazon account somewhere.

That is where I would like to see the log entries - to make debugging easier.

I edited my original post to be more clear.

This Feature Request is not solved. Can whoever marked it as solved, please unmark it?

Ok but why? Without a good reason it is unlikely to be added. Even with a good reason it seems unlikely but maybe slightly less unlikely.

You can mark and unmark posts as solved yourself in a thread you create. Everyone has the forum privileges to do that, AFAIK.

Users that have a sufficient trust level in the forum can mark post in threads other people create too.
