Amazon Echo Skill errors with Qubino Shutter Controller

I am controlling a shutter with the Qubino Flush Shutter Controller. It works very well and generates no errors in the log. When I link the shutter controller to the Amazon Echo Skill I get these errors from the Amazon Echo Skill in the log:

I have been unsuccessful finding anyone with knowledge about the Qubino driver that may be able to explain what is going on. If anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated. From this and other forums, it seems @josh was instrumental in developing the driver for the Qubino device. Any help?

I may have helped some people troubleshoot their Qubino Shutters, but I definitely don't remember writing the driver! :upside_down_face:

What do the reported events/state for the device look like?

Must have misread a post that inferred that you were the author. Apologies for that. It would be great if you could solve the mystery of why Amazon Echo Skill doesn’t play well with the Qubino device. Here are the current states:
