All the zwave devices in my home turned on by themselves

I was just sleeping in (father's day and all) when all the lights in my bedroom turned. I thought it was my wife playing a joke on me so I got out my phone and looked at my dashboard(s) to discover every light in my home turned on, as did every fan.

I do use Google Home integration and in my assistant history nobody issued commands to turn lights on. I checked past logs on the HE and it shows all the switched were turned on at the same time.

This is usually caused by a power interruption or surge. Most Z-Wave devices default to the On state when power is applied.

I had something similar happen but only with one switch AND it happened repeatedly for a large number of days. I focused on the switch because of the [physical] report.

I never found the issue but excluding and then including fixed it. Oddly enough it happened about 3 times each night at roughly (+/- an hour) the same times.
That was about a month ago. Since then I've had no issues.

It was confirmed by mike.maxwell that the [physical] report could be fooled by certain software conditions.
