All Motion Sensors Stop Working after 7 days

UPDATED: 11/15/23 with Z-Wave and backup Info.

I have a situation where every Monday morning, around 2 AM, all of my Aeotec Z-Wave motion sensors stop working. I never see any errors in the logs but what I do see is that the status messages related temp, humidity, etc the sensors send to the hub stop appearing in the log. A reboot of the hub resolves the issue but I need to get to the bottom of this and do not know how.

Interestingly, my cloud backup runs on Monday's at around 2 AM...which is the time data from the motion sensors stop appearing in the log. This all started after an update a few versions back but I cannot remember which one.

When are your backups scheduled to occur?

:point_up_2: Read the post linked in the message template (which you are supposed to delete when posting). There is more info needed to troubleshoot z-wave issues. I think those are Z-wave anyway? You did not specify.

OK, this is interesting. I have cloud backups set to Weekly and apparently, its on Mondays around 2 in the morning...which seems to be around the time when data from the motion sensors stop appearing in the logs.

Ah, its a C5 so the zwave details are mostly useless.

But, I see you are not on the current firmware. There was a known issue where the cloud backup was crashing the Zwave radio. Update the hub firmare.

Also if you go to Logs > Location Events you may see in there a zwave crashed error.

Yea, I have a C8 sitting on my desk ready in migrate and will do that when they resolve the migration issue. My hub never prompted me that there was another update so thanks for the heads-up on that. I'll install it and see if that resolves it this coming Monday.
