I've had a number of Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 Series sensors spread around the house for over a year, and they were all working just fine on my C7 hub. However, two days ago ALL 5 sensors are no longer triggering status changes in Hubitat. I did do a C7 firmware update early in the week, which I suspect may be the root cause.
The problem seems to have appeared with hub-2.3.2.136, and this morning I just updated to hub-2.3.2.138. No change in all 5 Aeotec device statuses.
At first I thought it was a one off sensor issue, as I mainly monitor the garage door. But I have the Device Activity Check app, and this morning it reported all 5 Aeotec door sensors as down. All other Z-wave sensors are in working order.
I've rebooted the C7 hub a couple of times, and did a z-wave repair. Any ideas on what's going on?
I would be surprised if it was the hub upgrade, but you never know. Reverting to 2.3.2.135 is pretty straightforward if you want to test. Just go to the diagnostics page at HTTP://[hub's_ip_addr]:8081, select "restore previous version," and follow the directions. You'll need to use the hub's MAC address as a password so you might as well have it handy. Downloading a backup first is never a bad idea though I have never had a revert to previous version cause me issues.
I would try a few things first though. Shut down your hub, remove power (from the wall end, not the hub end), wait a few minutes, then power it all back up. If that doesn't work, can you post a screen shot of your zwave details page?
Follow @brad5 's advice. Sometimes the z-wave radio needs cleared. Powering down and unplugging (at the wall not the hub) for 5 mins clears it. Power back up and all should be well.
