Alexa virtual switch showing as dimmer

My virtual switches are showing up in alexa as a dimmer. This seems to be messing up my alexa routines. It won’t seem to accept a command to just turn the switch on for some reason. I really want them to just be on/off switches.

I’m using the “virtual switch” driver.

Unfortunately this is a known issue. Take a look at this thread for details.

Put the switches into a group via either Hubitat Groups or via Alexa Groups and then they will work when you add them to a routine. It’s a quirk of not having an Alexa Skill that not everyone runs into, but I certainly do. Adding to a groups always solves the issue.
