So nearly 10 months since I posted this ..... and I just noticed that finally the UK Alexa has the ability to UNLOCK via App & Voice!
Must have been added in the last few weeks or so .... still don't have the ability to use sensors and other such devices in Alexa though, guess we have to wait another year for that then
