Alexa Integration Outage

I am seeing an issue where Skills Integration appears offline in the Alexa app. The effect to Hubitat is that voice commands to control devices all report that devices are offline. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes, I cannot use Alexa to control devices. Other skills that don't rely on Hubitat (MyQ and Harmony) aren't working either, so it appears to be a problem that's independent of Hubitat. Alexa can still do things that don't require a skill (weather and translation).

This thread had 7 or so posts including one of mine--where'd they go?

Seems like Alexa is having some issues...

Thanks. I'm an idiot.

Anyhoo... it's working again for me along with every other skill.

Interesting...yes mine came back too. I want a Hubitat LOCAL voice assistant! No more cloud for anything. The voice assistant is my last pain point. LOCAL....Please there's gotta be a way...

Amen to that. Compute-horsepower-wise, we're already at the point where you could affordably run natural language voice recognition locally... I've just not seen anyone do it in a way that's useful in the context of home automation.

There is a project called "Willow" that I have been reading about. I don't know how viable it is. GitHub - toverainc/willow: Open source, local, and self-hosted Amazon Echo/Google Home competitive Voice Assistant alternative
