Airplay Integration with Airport Express (Model AirPort10,115)

I use Airport Express devices to play music around my house. When I installed Airplay Integration it found these devices but requires a pin to connect, Airport Express is a device for audio only and does not display a pin. I have verified that HomeKit is set to allow devices on the network to connect and it does not have a password set.

I have several homepods and none of them require a pin... Hmmm

The app says that the device Bedroom requires paring.
