you can dimiss that if you want or change to channel 25.
Your new hub is likely not on the same ip. Add or change your existing reservation on your router for the new hub to be the ip of the old hub.
I read where if I change the channel I lose my devices for 2 days?
Also, currently on the new hub, NO zigbee devices are controllable
They do nothing whe I send them commands
I should mention I did follow the how to migrate docs carefully, my c7 is off
I researched this very carefully and followed the docs exactly. This did not go smoothly at all. I am not happy.
I also read several articles where pothers had the same issue, no controllable zigbee devices after migration. I all I see for solutions are people saying try this or try that. Is support available from Hubitat themselves?
Most will reconnect in about 15 mins....
Make sure you picked backing up the radios during he migration. On the old hub check what zigbee channel it's on...
Again, set a DHCP reservation so that your ip on the new hub is the same as the old hub.,
Why do I need the new hub on the same IP? I migrated a c7 to c8 a some months ago and I did not have to do that. Is that just so the android app can find it? The app found my last c8 just fine.
Also, is 20 not a good channel?

Makes it easier because the old ip will be cached. It's also recommended you use a DHCP reservation with all iot devices.
It tends to be crowded. 25 is farther away from 11 and below as well which optimizes zigbee performance.
I always use dhcp reservations, the new hub had one as well
I am not understanding what the IP of the hub has to do with zigbee not working?
I suggested using the same IP for the new hub for your app... For the zigbee issue it's possible you didn't mark backing up the radios for the migration. I would re do the migration again. Full cloud backup (mark include radios)
If your IP is the same subnet as the previous hub and registered to the same account (both should be) I don't understand why you should manually have to change the IP of the new hub to be the same as the old for the app to see it.

I did backup everything, zigbee, zwave, everything. The hub thinks everything is good. My HD+ app thinks all is well, just that no devices respond.
Important to me: If I change the channel how does that effect my possibly having to roll back to the old c7? I am happy to try that but I MUST have a hub working overnight. Beginning to thing Christmas day was not a good choice to do this ![]()
I would retry the migration
Agree, and all 4 hubs now arfe visible on my account page. But not in the app.
Bigger problem is of course the zigbee devices not responding
Well hopefully the retry on the migration will help and again, set the new hub to the old ip (that's usually recommended especially for devices that cache ip's)
Do you know if this is an issue?
Interesting, I shutdown the new c8, and turned back on and zigbee seems to be working
Only issue remaining is that my new hub is not showing up in the new android app, and the app thinks my old one is still active
CHANGE THE NEW HUB TO THE OLD IP. That should take care of it.
lol, I don't want to. This is my 4th hub, 2 c7's, 1 c8, and now the c8pro. I may want to use them all, no idea at this point. When I added the first c8 the (old) app saw it right away, and noticed that the old c7 was offline. I want that to happen now with the new android app. If it is a bug in the new app, I will work that out with support, they should be made aware.
Can you be specific about how you are trying to select the new hub in the app?
Logging out and back in to the app may also help, then it should definitely prompt you to select, assuming they are both registered to the same account.
