After changing email, there's a guest account I can't get rid of

Hey all. I followed the directions to change my email associated with my account (create new account, add as new admin) but when I visit the my.hubitat.com page and log in with my NEW email, I see a red error saying there's a guest account associated. But the account it's showing is ".". When I click into the details, there's no place to see or even remove any of these phantom accounts. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You might want to create an account issue case by visiting the following page. Be sure to include the old and new email address. I tried to locate your account by your community email address but there are no registered hubs, so further research may be required: Account Issues – Hubitat Support

I forgot to update my email for the forums. Your post reminded me I needed to do that and I have. Are you able to re-check?

Well, looks like we have a mixed-case problem when replacing the admins  Your new account is all lower-case letters, but when you replaced the admin, you used a mix of letters. Since the account is case sensitive, the new admin account, as you entered it, doesn't exist. We will review the process behind the admin replacement, so others don't run into the same issue. Since I was looking at your account, I corrected the admin, so you don't have to do anything.

Thank you! I appreciate not only the explanation but getting that taken care of.

I agree an improvement to that process should be reviewed. Honestly, just allowing an account email update instead of the current create, swap admin process would be best. But I'm sure a regex check on all email fields to force 'em all to lowercase would suffice.

Thank you again!!

Yup, we patched the login but forgot to update the replace proc.
