After the migration, I'm trying to connect my android Hubitat app to the Hub. It gives me the list of hubs, but after selecting it I get the attached error, and then it gets stuck on 'loading mobile devices'.
If I cancel it, it connects, but my phone is no longer registered as a device for notifications, etc.
Had you turned off the old hub before trying to turn on / migrate to the new C-8 hub?
Were you relying on IP Address reservation within your router, or settings on your HE hub?
P.S.: I am quickly running out of my own networking knowledge and will need re-enforcement's like @rlithgow1 and @brad5 to help quite soon... If not other network engineers who I have forgotten their qualifications (sorry).... Oh an HE staff.... occasionally they can help in situations like these
@rlithgow1 is actually a network engineer. I just throw out a bunch of jargon and hope something sticks. Alas I have no experience with the android app but in any case it sounds like you're working again.
If it happens again one thing you might do is see if you're still connected to the cloud by doing a speed test. If not I'd try over-writing the DNS entries in the hub even if they look fine. That usually works for me.
I'm having the same issue with the same error message. I deleted the app cache and data, but even that did not help. (Android)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Anyone else has a suggestion on what could be causing this issue?
Background: New Android (Samsung Galaxy) phone. The previous app was transferred from the old phone as part of the setup process. Received the same error as OP during the first login. Deleted the cache and data. Uninstalled the app and rebooted the phone numerous times. Rebooted hub numerous times (because of other issues.) Still getting the error when logging into the app. Left it for a few days, tried again, gave up etc. Tried again today - still no luck.
Thanks
