I have the HE C7 with firmware 2.2.4.145 and have successfully added the Aeotec Siren 6 to my network. I have the option to select which sound to play within the rules machine (RM) but can’t figure out how to set the light mode i.e. flash or solid within my RM actions. Does RM not have the option? I can change it in the configuration settings but not based on my RM actions (mode change or door open, etc.). Thanks for the help. I seem alike it should work but I can’t figure it out.

You might be able to use “custom commands” to gain that control. I’m on the road at the moment but some searching on the forum should get you some pointers.
Appreciate the tip. Let me see what I can find as I have seen in the siren documentation that there are special registers that you can write values to control it.
did you ever figure this out? I just got one of these as well and despite the driver config letting you pick 'flash/on/strobe' I only ever get the slow heartbeat type led action
Unfortunately not. I fought it for about four hours and couldn’t figure out how to change the strobe duration/pattern so I finally just gave up. I was hoping someone else would have better luck with it. It’s interesting though because I don’t have the flash/on/strobe option on my confirmation.
This problem has been reported about the doorbell 6 (same device as siren 6) and has not been solved yet.
